First Off-Roading Experience

I had a BLAST this past Saturday.  I took my Jeep out with a group from the Bay Area and we went to Hollister Hills.  I got to do the obstacle course, and found that my poor Jeep is a smidge short – I dented my skid plate.  Ha!  Oh well, that’s what it’s there for.

I got to take it out on trails too!  However, it’s painfully obvious my little Monster Jeep needs a TON of stuff…. really.  Ha!  I blame the other rigs out there that make me jealous.  Yup!  I will just blame them…. but I definitely need a lift, bigger tires, my lockers fixed (hello?!) and the sway bar detachable thing.  Wow am I technical!

YES!  I finally got to go out where I could play.  I’m so thankful!

I got direction from someone who luckily knows what he’s doing – or who knows what would happen.  Got a bit freaked out, but kept pushing until later that day.  Then the flippin’ exit road was closed as we were leaving, and I had to go over something that freaked me out again.  I can’t wait until I get used to this!  But the feeling of adrenaline and butterflies in the tummy are an AWESOME feeling.
